In Pokemon Scarlet, you will soon receive your very own transportation device – which comes in the form of Koraidon. This Legendary Pokemon can assume the form of a motorcycle and you can ride it to quickly move around the open world of Paldea. Even better, Koraidon can be upgraded to gain new abilities. If you are wondering how to upgrade Koraidon in Pokemon Scarlet, then this guide is here to tell you everything you need to know about this process.
How to Upgrade Koraidon Bike in Pokemon Scarlet
The first step here is to, of course, obtain the Scarlet Legendary Pokemon bike itself. If you do not know where it is, our how to get Koraidon guide explains what you need to do in order to receive it. Once you have gotten the Koraidon bike, this is going to mark the point at which the game opens up. You are now free to go where you want to. To accommodate this, your map is now filled with the most important locations in the game. These include the so-called Path of Legends. The PoL are the key to getting Koraidon upgrades.

That is – they take a lot of skill and effort to defeat, and doing so will give you some excellent rewards. Though, instead of facing powerful Pokemon trainers, you will instead go up against gigantic Pokemon. For example, one of these is Klawf, the Stony Cliff Titan. Once you defeat this mighty Pokemon, a cutscene starts, after which – you will have unlocked the Dash ability for Koraidon. This allows you to travel much more quickly. Though, be careful when using it. If you dash into a tree at full speed, the Pokemon that are in that tree can fall down and start a battle with you. The other upgrades are similarly tied to the rest of the Path of Legends battles.
